A History of Calculated Growth
In 1972, a Corporation was formed under the name Kirkhill Aircraft Parts Company and later became known as Kapco Global. The company first began with a license agreement with McDonnell-Douglas to distribute about 600 proprietary spare parts. Sales were just under $600,000 the first year.
In 1974, Lockheed came on board. As we started to grow, we leased a small 11,000 square foot office in La Habra, California. Kapco Global purchased its first computer and began experiencing a steady growth rate of about 25%-30% over the next 10 years. In January 1981, we relocated to our current office in Brea, California.
